It appears that the scam originated from the user’s personal laptop rather than any of our official channels. Our IT team has ensured that all of our systems remain secure, and we encourage all users to be cautious of phishing attempts and malicious activity on their personal devices.

Important Notice: Beware of Scam Emails Impersonating the SCiP Alliance


We want to alert all our delegates to a scam email that is currently circulating. The email appears to be from someone impersonating the SCiP Alliance, asking if you would like to receive the conference Attendee List by email.

Please do not respond to this email or provide any personal information. This message is not from the SCiP Alliance, and engaging with it could compromise your security.

We have already forwarded this matter to our IT department, who are investigating and taking appropriate action. If you receive a suspicious email or have any concerns, please contact us directly to verify its authenticity.
