Thriving Lives Toolkit – Case Study Project

Oxfordshire County Council are working with the SCiP Alliance to develop case studies of good practice in schools supporting Service children.
Research shows the complex lives Armed Forces children lead and the impact it can have on their wellbeing, attainment and more. We are seeking to find examples of effective practice in schools that we can turn into case studies to help improve outcomes for Service children across the UK.
Department for Education data tell us that Service children can be found in every other school, but large numbers of schools struggle to know what to do to support this diverse and widely distributed cohort.
Attached is a formal invitation to schools to engage in this project to capture your good practice as part of a bank of case studies to be promoted nationally.
The project is funded by the Naval Children's Charity.
