The SCiP Alliance secures funding to develop a Service family survey tool for schools

Listening to Service families is key to school support and underpins two of the seven principles in the Thriving Lives Toolkit. Schools have told us that they have found writing and responding to a survey to gather the views and experiences of families and students to be time consuming and challenging. The Alliance will therefore work with schools, using the expertise and experience in its network, to develop a rigorous survey tool to secure the voice of families and young people. This will be integrated into the suite of Thriving Lives tools the Alliance is currently developing and will support and develop schools' self-assessment and improvement of support for Service children through the Thriving Lives toolkit, which was launched last month.
