SCiP Alliance Scotland hub to be led by RCET and hosted at the University of Stirling

The SCiP Alliance Scotland hub was launched at the University of Stirling on 31st May 2018. Moira Leslie, Education programmes manager at the Royal Caledonian Education Trust brought together a wide range of policy and practice stakeholders, including Edinburgh College, the University of Edinburgh, Abertay University, the University of Strathclyde, the College Development Network, the Office for Commissioner for Fair Access, Argyll College, Fife College, Skills Development Scotland, the Scottish Funding Council, SWAP, the Equality Challenge Unit and the Scottish Government.
Attendees heard from the SCiP Alliance team before looking at the context in Scotland and developing the rationale, priorities and role of a Scotland hub. The meeting generated energy and ideas and participants went away inspired by the potential of working together to support Service children's educational progression in Scotland.
