- Organised by: South East Hub
- Date: 2nd May 2025 from 09:30 to 15:15
- Location: Canterbury Christ Church University, Verena Holmes Building, North Holmes Road, Canterbury, CT1 1QB
Following the successful launch of the South East Service Children’s Progression Alliance Hub last year, we are delighted to welcome you to our latest event; Partners in Progress: Working Together for the Educational Success of Armed Forces Children.
This event will focus on the role of educators and professionals and how they can support service children in their school or college. Whether your school or college currently has a large or small cohort of service children it is important to consider how they can be supported and how service pupil premium can be used most effectively. Please find attached an agenda for the event.
It will be held at Canterbury Christ Church University on Friday 2nd May and will:
- Inform educators about the barriers service children can face in education
- Hear directly from armed forces families
- Provide schools with the opportunity to share best practice about the use of service pupil premium
- Inspire collaboration between schools, colleges, universities and not for profit organisations
To sign up to the event please complete the RVSP here.
Please note there is very limited parking available at the university itself; the attached agenda provides parking options and transport links.
