The information we collect is denoted by the fields you are asked to populate. In providing your personal information you are consenting to the information being processed and used for the purposes it was requested. Your personal information will only be held for as long as necessary and we will not unless otherwise indicated pass it to third parties.
The SCiP Alliance is hosted by the University of Winchester; your data will be held by the SCiP Alliance under the terms of the University of Winchester's data protection policy. The University endeavours to keep the information we hold as up-to-date and as accurate as possible. GDPR compliance May 2018
The SCiP Alliance is part of the University's of Winchester's Widening Participation team data audit and as such has carefully considered the implications of the new legislation for its processing of personal data through its subscriber list and event registration processes. The staff team has participated in the University of Winchester's GDPR training. We have:
- Clarified the purpose for which we collect personal data
- Ensured this is clear on our website and in communications such as the newsletter
- Put in place processes to ensure data is only held for as long as necessary
- Checked that previously obtained permissions comply with the new regulations and requested new consent if not
